  • Topic 1: Microbial competition control in High Rate Anaerobic Reactors fed with Industrial Wastewaters
  • Topic 2: Anaerobic digestion of industrial wastewaters at low temperatures
  • Topic 3: H2S removal from biogas using novel bioreactor configurations
  • Topic 4: Biosequestration of CO2 in algal photo-bioreactors
  • Topic 5: Biohydrogen production and VFAs recovery from complex organic substrates under hyperthermophilic conditions
  • Topic 6: Optimization and Mathematical modelling based control of trace metal dosing in anaerobic digestion of solid waste
  • Topic 7: Developing microbial monitoring methods for anaerobic biological processes
  • Topic 8: Use of effluents of anaerobic digestion and microbial fuel cells as nutrient sources for microalgal biomass production
  • Topic 9: Fate of trace metals in soils after land application of digestate
  • Topic 10: Digestate valorization for soil remediation: landfarming of hydrocarbons contaminated soils
  • Topic 11: Simultaneous hydrogen and electricity production and heat recovery from biogas using hybrid fuel cells
